For ETC's question, the tailcap boot seems to me like medium press. Of course you can always change that by 1. a different boot, or 2. cutting the nub on the inside of the boot to a different length.

Yes the tail caps DO tail stand. The loaded flashlight body, with batteries, drop in and bezel, will easily tail stand with this tail cap. They are very stable, as the Mc Clicky boot doesn't interfere.
