yeah the spot in the vid looks intense.I guess when I read 1600 vs 950 lumens I get dazed and confused about what the numbers vs the resultant beam of the dif led type.Your opinion may be right on the money. I will check out the comparison for peace of mind.

If you want lumen go X2vnT. If you want throw go X6vnT

I think it beats the sr52 by a tiny bit. Should put the x6vnt between 105 - 115kcd imo which is amazing for a light this size :). I already have one so im getting the xml2 version

I meant both options of led with this X6vnT
Xml2 at 1600 vs xpg2 at 950

Do you mean the lower lumen xpg2 out throws, but the xml2 has more light on target I.e. more floody?

Thats exactly right. If the xpg2 version gets just over 100k lux the xml2 version should push 65k to 75kcd with more light and a bigger spot

It throws very close to the s200c2vn because its drivin much harder so it can acheve similer throw in a smaller reflector

Vinh:
What type of 18650 will work with the XPG2 and how fast does it heat up?

my x6vnt gets to hot to hold at around 2 minutes or slightly under that.

efest 35amp
vtc5
Samsung 20r and 25r

all will drive this light to the max but if you don't want it to get hot as quick use cheaper quality batteries. I put in a ultrafire cell I had and it was notably dimmer then the hi draw batteries. got about 3 and a half minutes for it got to hot

Thanks for the info. No point in using lower output batts in this type of light...
I guess a 2 min limit is doable for a spotlight.
How long to cool down between uses?
