Flashlight Enthusiast
I just received 10pcs of XXOT Binned 5watt LED's. I have 10 experimental lights I am going to auction off on Ebay. I have a prototype I tested out and all I can say is WOW!
Imagine my Key-Lux AA powered with a 3.7v Lithium "AA" size battery using a XXOT Binned 5watt LED. Well that is exactly what it is. These lights are 100% regulated with a special converter from Arcmania (MJ) powering the LED at 650mA. The runtime on this light is aprox 1hr. Tested with my 750mA AA Lithium Batteries. First runtime test was aprox 1hr-4min. 2nd test was 1hr-1min. The battery was charged with a Pila Charger. Charger seems to work pretty good for charging these batteries you just need to keep an eye on them since they are not protected cells.
The reason i am running the LED at 650mA is because there is not enough aluminum mass on the light. It would just get way too hot. This light is Polarity Protected so you don't have to worry about putting the battery in backwards.
This is what will be coming with the light:
* Regulated and Reverse Polarity protected light In a Black HA Key-Lux AA Aluminum Housing Powering a XXOT Bin 5watt LED at 650mA.
* Serialized bezel stating "Limited" Lithium-Lux V 1/10 to 10/10
* Optional Push-Button tail cap switch to accompany the twist on/off switch.
* 2x Li-ion "AA" size Batteries. (14500)
* Li-ion "AA" Charger (Might not have in time for sale)
* Belt Clip Pouch to hold this mini-Pocket Monstor.
Aprox selling time will be in 3weeks. The proceeds will let me start all my new upcoming projects.
I will include some beam shots as soon as I take some pictures.
Below is a picture of the Lion Heart at full brightness. It has an extremely bright hot spot. This stairway was completely dark when pictures were taken.
Below is a picture of the Lithium-Lux V. Don't forget this amount of light is coming from the Key-Lux AA Body. Just look at how it lights up the whole stairway.
