A note on the 18500s, I like runtime while preserving the ability for occasional use of the 3 amp high. As such I designed the 18500 to accept the 53mm 1700mAh Keeppowers which are protected cells based on a Sanyo cell. Shorter IMRs might require a magnet spacer for a reliable connection.

Yeah, I'm running two magnets (totaling a quarter inch) with an AW IMR 18500...

Suitable for EDC and pocket duty, I don't purposely abuse my tools so I can't say what the breaking point would be. Ones with the 20mm lens should be fine in a puddle and light submersion. 15 feet of water started to leak on my personal light, however that is due to the insufficient sealing surface for a solid seal with a 20mm lens. Since these are clickies they are not designed as dive lights, though I hope the 21mm lens will improve the seal.

Devin, Are all the lights from now on shipping with the 21mm lens and are the sapphire lenses also 21mm? :)

Correct, the lights I shipped out yesterday and forward have 21mm lens, either glass or sapphire.

Thanks, that's great. The compensation for being near the bottom of the list is that you are continuing to refine what was already a gorgeous looking light. :)

Devin, KUDOS!! You're knocking it out of the park with this one! Only had it in my hands for less than 30 min but I really like it. Initial impression is your machining ability is as good as any current maker and better than many. The head and body join practically seamlessly, the threads are silky smooth. Great work!

I like the size and this is going into my EDC messenger bag. It can easily be pocket-carried but I will probably stick to my 18350s for that - well, that is until I get my hands on the Cu 18500 you're building as my next one. I'm really excited about that one, as luck would have it I already have 18500 batteries in my inventory since I have one other light that uses that size..

Keep it up!! Congrats on a great product and thanks for getting me in on the first go!

Devin, I received the "oops" light today, what can I possibly add. The light is fantastic! The oops is overshadowed by everything else. Like az2 said, the machining great. Super smooth. Great job!
