Seriously, if my computer isn't compatible with the extended support. I'm more then likely will go with the ASUS.
 
none if I buy stock it will fail lol the Asus is great to just make sure its the snapdragon x one

you get Win 11 , quad core AMD processor (6nm process) fyi...I switched to AMD about 6 years ago

Thanks for the recommendation, and link. Staying with Windows, and not in a rush, as I still have a couple of months before the end of support for 10.

Presently, waiting for PhotonWrangler's responce, re. my computer's compatability with (ESU) extended support. If it is compatable, I'll be good for another year plus.

^You can subscribe to windows ESU program. It does cost, and you do have to sub to it. It will extend support for another year. Then the price doubles each year after for up to 3 years.

Extended Security Updates for organizations and businesses on Windows 10 can be purchased today through the Microsoft Volume Licensing Program, at $61 USD per device for Year One. The price doubles every consecutive year, for a maximum of three years.

From the Start menu, ,go to Settings > Update & Security >Windows Update. If your computer is compatible, Windows will offer the ability for you to sign up for the ESU program from there.

Found the info.. My Windows 10 Pro is running version 22H2. So, when I have the time to fully concentrate on what I'm doing (meaning when Ma is sleeping ... lol). I'll follow the step by step info. in your link, on signing up, and installing (ESU). Hope I don't smoke my laptop, sending it into the abyss. So, wish me luck (I'm gonna need it), and see how it goes.

Preciate all of your help with my computer issue/s!

I just love my Mac. heat I'm editing 4k video while surfing web now no fans no noise no hiccups . but that laptop above is nice to just a bit heavy for me
 
not a big computer but a computer I just figured out last night I can pay for stuff with my watch . I just put it near nfc reader. crazy thing is its more powerful then my full size pc I had when I joined this forum lol and cheaper then most decent name brand normal watches

Hey PhotoWrangler,

Just an update. I tried the above instructions this evening, I selected: Wnidow Update Preview. I copied the specifics of the update, but after restarting the computer, I lost it.

In Windows Update, it presently shows "You're up to date". It didn't take me to ESU extended program.

However, I did a Windows 11 compatability with my computer. As mentioned earlier; "This PC doesn't currently meet the minimum system requirements to run Windows 11".

I'll try the step by step instructions next. ... (y)

If you clean out any unnecessary junk on your hard drive by (1)defragment drive* & (2)doing disk cleanup* then (3)running CCleaner simple download
(4) buy 16GB RAM (ddr3 or ddr4 wherever you have in your system) just toss out the old

Only the RAM is a cost, everything else is Windows function* or simple free download.

I'll bet $20 that those things done will run Win 11
