    What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

    I hope you enjoy the KR1AA clip option. Fwiw Vaseline does not conduct electricity. But it will probably get scraped out of the way from the pressure of closing the tailcap. No harm in trying.

    What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

    good idea.. a copper washer would work too, if you figure out what size works, please share info I dont have either of those things, but I do have solder wick ;-)

    good warning.. might be prudent to put a bit of solder on the ends of the solder wick, so they dont fray. It is still in the testing phase, but the solder wick spacer and KR1AA clip are working so well, Im inclined to keep them installed. Im keeping the tail closed and changing batteries...

    thank you for explaining how things work for you in Europe Im very lucky here in USA I only pay the price shown on Hanks site.. nothing is added after it arrives. My most recent purchase is a Polished Silver Dual Channel D3AA w NTG35 4200K and Red with metal button, magnet and clip, for $48...

    so for a Hanklight D4K with clip, cost is $42, so you would pay 0 shipping, 10.7% duty in Norway, and 25% Vat, for a total of $58 correct?

    My next AA/14500 Anduril light has been announced

    Note that on early versions of the D3AA the O ring sits lower. Newer versions have the O ring sitting higher, leaving plenty of room for the clip, and the O ring remains completely covered by the tailcap:

    My next AA/14500 Anduril light has been announced

    yes, it goes on easily, and there is enough room to fit the top of the clip over a jeans seam, snugly.. easier to slide all the way into the upper bend of the clip with slacks that have thinner material than jeans.. but both materials work fine
