Hey everyone,
I'm still using these $3 lights hot rodded with Olight 14500 3.7V batteries.
My EDC light and they stand the test of time.
I Dont believe Olight makes these batteries anymore, so can anyone direct me to an alternative source that fit the mini lights? I know these batteries can sometimes vary in length, that's why i 'm asking.
Even a recommendation on a newer better light /battery combo would be cool Thx!

I cannot recommend Vapcell H10 INR14500 10A 1000mAh enough. Great cells. Supposedly INR chem does not last through as many recharge cycles as IMR, but they're pretty cheap, and I've not yet managed to murder any out of a batch of 24 so far. Been using them since 2020. I can't imagine Olight 14500 even compare in amps or capacity.

For 14500 lights, I like Lumintop Tool AA, especially in copper with Nichia 219c emitter, but I expect those are getting rare. But now in HiCRI 4000K SST-20. Great emitter, but a little flat compared to the Nichias.

I had this Olight battery and it's longer than any other 14500 batteries I have (about 1-2 mm difference).

If you purchase a new battery and the spring is too short, you can always pull it with a plier to make the spring a bit longer.

Pull it gently, otherwise it may teared off from the PCB.
