Been off the scene for a while but looking for an LED thrower with a tighter beam and spill.

Preferably 21700 cell and has a turbo run time thats reasonably decent.

Can be worn on the hip in a pouch but not so big as to be intrusive.

Used mostly as an EDC class but a lot of hunting/shooting too.

Moon light to warp factor 6 .

UI has to decent and one handed operatuion.

Thanks in advance

Peritus...There are lots of options that fall within the parameters you desire. You'll be best served by an online search along the lines of "21700 long range thrower flashlight" or words to that effect. There is also a very broad range of price points in this category, which may be relevant to you if import duties are a big consideration. To get tyou started here are a few suggestions. No recommendation is implied, but at least you'll have some reference lights to start your evaluation work.

- LUMINTOP AK26 / 7000 lumens / 6000K / 605 meters throw / Approximately €45-50, exclusive of import duty or tax.

- FENIX HT18R / 2800 lumens / 6500K / 1100 meters throw / Approximately €140-150, exclusive of import duty or tax.

- FENIX PD40R V3.0 / 3000 lumens / 6500K / 500 meters throw / Approximately €120-140, exclusive of import duty or tax.

- ACEBEAM DEFENDER P17 / 4900 lumens / 6000K / 445 meters throw / Approximately €110-120, exclusive of import duty or tax.

Let us know which path you choose.

I got the Fenix TK20R V2.0. It's not a full blown thrower, but reaches out very well, and is not overly large. Runs on a 21700 and can be carried easily in a pocket, as well as in a holster. Has the charge port covered by an O-ring protected screw cover, although I don't use the charge port, but also has a battery level indicator under that cover which is very handy. Very impressive all purpose dependable light, in my opinion ... and Fenix has excellent customer service.

Check the specs & reviews.

Yes I had already looked down that search route almost ver batum. However since I was last "really into" lights and the progression of tech, a lot of H20 has flowed under the bridge. I am therefore well behind the times even with makes I am familiar with let alone what are new names to me.
Basically looking to pull on up to date opinions as to what are hot and what is not. Can cut out a lot of wasted time tbh.
