Congratulations and thanks for building such a comprehensive review. I love AAA lights and recently obtained the LF2XT so I was interested in reading your comments on that particular light.
 
Thanks for this guide. Still don't know what to get to replace my E01.

@ HJK - Can you approximate the distance from the light to the tree in your outdoor shots? Also for comparison was that distance kept fairly consistant?

I am trying to decide on a small AAA to toss into my wifes purse and will be using your excelent review as a large chunk of my decision. So far I am leaning to the Tiablo A1.

Tree? All the light are aimed at the grass and do not reach any trees.

When doing my beamshots I uses a holder for the lights, i.e. they are all placed at exactly the same location and usual at the same angle (But bumps on the light can change the angle a bit).

Oh sorry about that I thought it was pointing at a bush/tree. What is the distance from the light to the grass in these shots? Or is that the light running parrallel to the ground?

Any guestimation on the throw of the Tiablo A1??

I am aiming at the ground a few meters from the light and camera, because I want to show the beam.
These lights are designed for short distance work, the most compact thrower I know is the JetBeam RRT-2 and it is much bigger.

None of the lights are throwers, the small reflectors can not concentrate the light enough. The green bargraph (the last one of them) measures lux, it is a relative measurement, but shows that the A1 is in the bottom of throw for lights with a power led.

I tried to order 2 of the stainless steel models, and my order got cancelled. Are these not available?
