New cars "Take the hit" so their passengers don't. Crumple zones.
.Yep. And if the bumper was damaged, you'd pick up a rechromed one for $25-$30 and bolt it on.
Looked good as new!

An armed society is a polite society. This only applies for the vehicle in motion...a wall, or a tank, doesn't need crumple zones if it can survive being impacted, stuff inside won't go anywhere...if anything, it needs some ablative/explosive reactive armor.

I'm imagining taking our pets for a walk thru' a polite neighborhood. We have our .45s and a shotgun. Our neighbor passes coming the other direction with her carrying an AK and him a flame thrower. We nod and smile at each other as we pass on the sidewalk. An armed society is a polite society.

That M4 needs black wheels ^
the design is fine, the bare aluminum just looks cheap.
+They've got black, and they've got two-tone (grey/blk + silver). All forged. Definitely not poorly-made rims on their M offerings. (Not a fan of black rims, myself. But everyone's different.)
I think this M4 Comp Coupe would look stunning with their green exterior, tan leather interior, and a two-tone forged gold/blk rim. (A bit like those earlier examples I had posted of the Cadillac and the Maybach.)
