There will always be 'some headline', fictional or not, that'll keep oil price high.

Way too much money to be made to do anything else

$3.29 cheapest in Florida
$3.49 near JAX
$3.57 TPA
$3.49 MIA
$3.63 Orlando

I paid $3.42 in St. Augustine Tuesday evening.

A week later, it's up to $4.15 a gallon!
It was $3.99 last week!

On a related note.... replaced both of my windshield wipers yesterday morning after the rubber started badly peeling off of one of them. They worked great for many years. The new ones? Just under $72.oo for the pair! In case you're wondering, no they are NOT solid gold wipers.

Dude...https://www.rockauto.com/

You're welcome ;)

Just FYI, they cut costs by having NO customer service, so it's a bit "buyer beware," but I order all my wipers and air filters from them, because they're cheap enough if something is wrong, I don't care, can reorder them, and still save money.
If something arrives and is broken, you have to go through the manufacturer's warranty, so I tend to not buy important/expensive stuff from them.

I paid $3.61 in Tampa today, before discounts, so $3.42 after discounts. Not great but not as bad as it was back in 2021-2024.

@Monocrom : What did you buy and where did you buy it? The Mercedes dealer quoted me $100 for new blades, installed. I asked the service saleshole how much were they at the parts counter, $36. He walked me over there with the part # already written down. And that's Mercedes OEM at the dealership.

Lips ^ questions for you.

In LA, are gas stations required to put ethanol percentages on pumps?
Is non-ethanol gas available?

Brent Crude is again at $100/barrel
