Junk Knife Warning

HRC = 55/50 ( 55HRC bites / 50HRC skates )
Edge sharpened to 1000 grit @ 18 degrees per side .

It wasn't an expensive knife ! Butt the edge did roll @ 100 slices , which is rather poor performance . A big clue was , edge / apex deformation from sheathing and unsheathing the knife ! Yeah ....... The factory sheath was damaging the edge ! Butt ? the edge did strop back ! Guess that's something .

I bought a HXOutdoor Light My Fire Mora type knife in s35vn apparently. If that was the case it would be the ultimate mora killer for the same price. We will see if it is better than 100 cuts.

There is a HX I have my eye on , just waiting on a better price .. ( The one with the firestarter in the handle )

Yes that's the one I've purchased apparently in s35vn but we will see. I paid less than $40 which is crazy. If it performs at d2 level I'll be happy.
