Carry On!

Nice! I might get one of those, myself.

Got it from Opticsplanet like I did with my last Zero Tolerance ($100 less than everyone else online)
That ZT was supposed to have a 2~3week shipping, UPS delivered it in exactly 5 days.... it was perfect.

I know OP is one of your MANY online dealers you have issue with.
My Black Leaf was $93 and had a 12% coupon,,, my grand total was $86.78

I'll get it when it arrives, and that's fine

No, not many. In the last several years, it has been Cloud Defense, Optics Planet, and Convoy.

C.D. is just run by scumbag con-men. I hope they go out of business and end up in prison for many long years for the fradulent way they run their business.

After a light went missing, I contacted Simon at Convoy. He expressed sympathy but did nothing to help. Said he couldn't help. I sent him an email, expressing how upset I was at his so-called Customer Service. And, detailed what he should have done. Wrapping up with the fact that I would never buy one of his Convoy flashlights ever again. Kept that promise. Never had an issue with the quality of his lights. Ironically, Simon took my advice and greatly improved his customer service. That's clear from the dedicated Convoy topic on CPF. Seems I was one of the folks who found Convoy very early on. Anyway, no animosity towards Simon. He owes me a flashlight. But I found better offerings from Wurkkos.

I gave O.P. another chance after a few years went by. The item was clearly shown as "in-stock." Ordered it, waited. Nothing! Waited several weeks. Did some digging using the tracking number to start with. The item genuinely was shipped out. It went to the very Eastern border of the state where their warehouse is located in. Got delivered to some dude named Rodriguez. Completely different address! He rejected the delivery. My box was sent back to O.P., where they then considered everything was finished! Until I contacted them.... and got no response. Okay, time for a credit card charge-back. My C.C. company came through for me.

O.P. lists EVERYTHING as being in-stock. Even items that were discontinued over a decade ago. You order those items, they take your money, and you get nothing. If they have something in stock, they'll send it out to you. If there's an issue; they pretend that their job is done. You were lucky that you got your order.

Knives: Smokey Mountain Knife Works (SMKW), DLT Trading, or Knife Center. Finally, eBay.

Lights: Bright Guy, Battery Junction, B&H Photo and Video, or the Brand's official website.

B&H has a very limited selection of flashlight brands. But among those brands, a very extensive inventory of models. Plus, the company gives away Free flashlights when you buy flashlights of a certain amount of money. More you spend, the better the freebie. That's how I got my Olight IMINI 2. Plus, B&H is local to me, in NYC. Family owned for decades. Run by very religious Jewish folk. A little annoying when you want something right away but their store and website are closed for several days due to religious holidays. Though obviously that's a minor thing. Business is mostly known for higher-end electronics. Especially cameras and equipment.

I don't bother taking a chance anymore, nor do I give 2nd chances anymore.

Exceed designs Tyrant Utility knife. I quit carrying a standard blade knife a while ago, I still like them, but this has been the most practical knife I have ever used. Don’t have to worry about sharpening or damaging a blade. Just swap a new one in seconds. Cut anything you want and not have to worry.

No, not others. Just Amazon. But that was easily over a decade ago.
Used to buy a massive amount of stuff on there. Same delivery address.
Someone hacked my Amazon account. Bought up a bunch of stuff.
All different delivery addresses. When I found out, contacted Amazon.
Contacted my C.C. company. Explained the part about the addresses.
C.C. company said, I didn't have to pay. Amazon was furious with me!
Demanded I contact my C.C. company and reinstate ALL the charges.
Otherwise, my account would be banned. I told them to go folk themselves.

I know I'm missing out. But I gave Simon my word. That was 2 or 3 years ago. I've kept it. I don't go back on my word. I don't compromise my principles.

That's a gorgeous light. Would love to own it. Oh well.... It's unfortunate how things turned out between Simon and I.
