I would definitely go for Serge's driver. I had one of the new Oveready V5 lights and loved the programming interface.
This should also take care of the worries of over current on the switch I would think.

Definitely interested in the 371 driver with amber/red secondary led.
Although I would probably change my copper 18500 back to an 18650 if I used that driver so that I could use 2 18350s as an added option for maximum output.
....I'm not sure if 2-cell will be possible with the current design as the McClicky spring would have to be pretty compressed as the light is sized for unprotected cells and not longer cells.
You could always cut down the clicky spring a bit...In that case, I'll probably stick with the Qlite driver and 18500 body currently selected. Thanks. :)

Driver would be nice... XPL 4000k would be AWESOME!!Would there be any interest for Serge's 371D driver? It is the same driver/XP-L 4000k combo that is in the Overready Wasp and BOSS.
They offer extremely good efficiency in all modes (90-97% efficiency per Serge), current controlled, secondary red LED, bounce sensor, fully programmable, on board temperature regulation, and wide voltage range 1-2 cells.
I'm thinking of offering these as an option in addition to the standard H17F. They are very expensive though, so additional cost would be +$50 for that setup.

For me I'm exactly opposite. Love the driver but didn't like the re-domed XP-L emitters. The Nichia emitters with this driver would be the cats meow though.
These are actually the 4000k XP-L, not the 4500k XP-L re-domed. Nichia would be nice, but Serge said they are very difficult to get ahold of in Russia.

An update on the 371D, I'm going to send some 219Cs to Serge to have made up into drivers, and a couple for him to test as he is interested in ordering a bulk order and offering them himself, which would simplify future orders of the drivers.
I'm still on board for Serge's driver if the Nichia option is there.
