A regular pencil eraser is pretty good at erasing ink writing. Not perfect, but pretty good.

Few days ago had a need for a rather small pair of groove pliers.
I don't need the best tools,, but in this case went for it since they were mentioned several times in this thread.
5" Knipex

+@orbital -- Have you used the pliers yet? Any thoughts?
That particular five-incher ought to be compact enough to get into some tight spaces.
Pliers are pliers, mostly, but I think you'll enjoy how well the Knipex work. Have a couple of them.
Stuff that just works -- Big John toilet seats.
Have had one for several years, now. Exceptional. Certainly larger than normal. But it's strongly made, and well-designed. The seat itself is supported on the lip of the toilet with a wide section along ~75% of the seat, instead of a couple of those cheap-o plastic nubs most all off-the-shelf seats have. It's got heavy-grade stainless steel hardware. It doesn't flex. Available for both elongated and round bowl shapes. Is larger than the typical slim-line type seats, so (visually) it might not initially appeal to everyone.
Isn't inexpensive. Is about ~3-4x+ the cost of a typical hardware store type seat. But it might well be the last you ever need to buy.
5/5. Highly recommended.

At a big formal offsite meeting with folks from all over the world, our GM got a bit tipsy before his manager's meeting address. He graced us with a classic, as follows: "Man, have you all noticed how small the toilet seats in this hotel are?! They are tiny! There's no way Jack (our VP) could fit on one of those!" We all howled with laughter; even Jack; who was a big ole Santa Clause of a man.
Since we're on the subject, a bidet. I purchased one over three years ago. Yes. That's right! I'm now sophisticated. Never going back.
