Home cooking. It's a lot cheaper than eating out, you can make sure you're eating well by using the right ingredients like fresh produce, and YMMV but I'm finding it therapeutic the more I do it and the more I experiment around the kitchen and come up with "new ways to skin old cats", so to speak.
An Italian wife.... Though good luck getting one of those if you're not Italian.

This stuff is the best I have ever used for removing sticky substances- esp. like double sided stickey tape that doesnt peel off and leaves a mess. Spray it on and let it sit for 5 minutes, it will remove the sticky substance EASY. You can get this @ HD cheaper than anywhere & only comes in one size. It also comes in orange instead of lemon BUT ONLY THE LEMON WILL WORK / DO THE JOB- THE ORANGE WILL NOT WORK.

Odor eliminator -- OdoBan Pet OdoMagnet. 14oz containers.

Good stuff, I've found. I keep several at the house, in the usual areas (laundry, bathroom, kitchen). Have used it in the cargo area of the car, when something stinky leaks (ie, a leaky 1gal milk jug on the way home from the grocery); after first wiping up and sanitizing ... three days later with these tubs in place, no more smells.

Their OdoBan Citrus Disinfectant is also fairly effective. 1gal jugs. Kills germs, sanitizes. Fairly good at neutralizing pet urine, and zapping other nasty smells around the house. Kitchen countertops and surfaces, in the bathroom.

Similarly, when booking hotels, places like Marriott's Residence Inns / Towneplaces have kitchens in the rooms. It may be a bit more than a regular hotel room, but being able to cook rather than eating out easily makes it worth it. Not to mention healthier too. For that matter, just having a full size fridge/freezer can be worth it, even if I don't use the stove.

Febreeze. We keep one on the cistern of each toilet, including when we travel. It actually does neutralise the odors. Interesting tech when you read up on it.

As a side note, Febreeze originally didn't have a scent. They first tried it with cat owners. One of the problems they encountered were the owners saying their cats/cat boxes don't smell, when in fact the ammonia smells were practically gag-worthy at some of the households. Thus, scent was added for the benefit of those whose noses had already become accustomed to the offending olfactory odors.

Those No-name, elongated, rectangular electronic lighters with the two prongs on one end. What a fantastic way to save on Kitchen Matches for lighting the stove! Everything has gotten ridiculously expensive. Buy one extra long e-lighter, charge it up when needed, save a massive chunk on matches over the years.

Those ARS pruners are quite good. I went with the slightly older ones made by Ryobi since I have both multiple batteries and multiple chargers for Ryobi 18v. tools.
