Awesome pic, love it!
I am no fan of HCRI but the tint on this one is is truly the best. Look just like natural sunlight. About 4500K to my eyes. This LED is going to make alot of people happy. You have to try out this LED for urself! Only negative so far is it gets hot fast in a D4vn...but then I think Everything gets hot fast in that host.

Sounds good. What does it put out for lumens?
Just tested this LED in P60vn with smooth reflector and the beam was nice and floody. About 1000 Lumen and 18Kcd.

They have to design the new mcpcb.. most customers care for lumen lumen. So it doesn’t make sense for the light company.

It is a treat to see pictures of flashlights that get used extensively. Beautiful, pristine torches are great, but the dinged up ones have their own personality.
I just tried the Samsung LH351D 4000k 90CRI in my M43 and at first I thought it was acceptable. However, once I compare it with my other Cree 4000k 5D tint lights and Nichia 219B 4000k, the LH351D looks extremely yellow in comparison. White objects look yellowish with the Samsung while the Cree 5D and Nichia 219B 4000k make white look pure white.
This is exactly what I have been saying over the years. HCRI doesn't mean much to most peoples eyes. Tint does. Tint however is very subjective. Most of my customers love 219c 4000K HCRI but I and some others dont. In contrast 219c 5000K is only ~70CRi but I love it. Other than this Samsung HCRI LED I have never liked any tint that is with a HCRI LED. As a matter of fact I think this Samsung HCRI is the best neutral tint of any neutral LED I have ever seen. The tint is especially nice at medium to high output. At the lower levels most if not all neutral LEDs are a bit yellow. But then the LED of my dream is not acceptable by your standards. Also, I noticed that the term pure white is also extremely subjective. For my eyes nothing 4000K is pure white. At least 5000K-6000K is usually pure white for me. Anyhow, the point is in terms of neutral LEDs everyone should try out a few to pick one what suits you. HCRI and Kelvin is just specs. Gotta check it out in person.

Good point! This is also one reason why I allow hassle free returns. Less stress as a buyer on which is right as specs aren't everything. Even beam shots doesn't describe the real picture.
