L351d would be cool. All Vinh has now is the two HI's 5000 and 6500k. The SST20 didn't work out.

D4S just came in. WOW, this is the best Emisar.

How's the anodizing? Will it hold up to abuse better than previous models? My D4 is reserved for gentle use due to how easy the anodizing scratches. If the new D4S is stronger I may be interested in one.

About the same quality I think...do they claim HA III?

Can I ask what are your plans for that nitecore tm10k? When I first read about it, I was excited. But when I saw the price, I wasn’t so ecstatic anymore. I always wanted one of the flat rectangular lights, like the fenix ld10?
just couldn’t cough up the money for what it is. Seems to be always more expensive than regular looking lights.
Is this nitecore a customer light or yours personally?any pics compared to the fenix ld10? Which do your prefer size handling wise?

There is quite a bit i want to say about the TM10K. I will post my thoughts after gym :-)

OK so TM10K is a wonderful light in design. I love the LED screen and, UI and performance. Only 1 builtin 21700 seems kinda low but its OK. The light run a max of 1000 Lumen and a dedicated 10K lumen momentary button. Sounds like a great idea. 1000L is not bad and is good for most task. I paid retail for mine. Light was a very small size that is great for many pockets.Other than the excessive prints there wasn't anything I don't like on the exteriror. Inside everything looks good and very well built. Basically the $300 asking price was steep but not completely unreasonable for a very unique light. The only bad news is the mostly floating LED copper MCPCB. It only transfer heat via the edges. It should have sat on a shelve that is a unibody with the light...This will lead to less felt heat than there should be. So...It is a good light? Yes! absolutely. But it misses on one key mark that as a flashlight modder I feel a crucial one that prevent me from recommending it.

Thanks for the input. Sounds like mostly positive feedback. $300 would have been fairly reasonable 2 years ago when 10k lumens was hard to come by. It was only achieved by vn lights.
But now you can get 20k lumens for that price tag haha
i guess the form factor is what your paying for now. If this tm10k was more flat and wide I’d prolly pull the trigger. Even though it’s narrow, I think the fatness will cause a too big of a bulge. Suppose to take advantage of the rectangle size...

Size wise I think it has no problem in any jean pocket. I slid them in a pair of tight jeans and they did fine.

Hmmm I may just give it a shot then. I’ll keep my radars on for any sales or discounts.
