thanks for pointing out the discrepancy in the website.. they say four in the part you quoted, but list PID on only three in the part I quoted..
I doubt step 9 at 410 lm would even generate enough heat to exceed the 55C ceiling and trigger the thermal sensor.. you could test that if you have an IR thermometer, or could write to Zebra to clarify..
my guess is the thermally sustainable output in actual use is step 10 at 790 lm
in any case, I would rather have PID IF the light exceeds 55C thermal ceiling, on whatever output does so.
