Hey, i just did that! I just did that! Less than 2 months ago!
Replacing 21 bulbs of various origin around the house in one go! All matching Philips 60 W, 2700K CRI 90 bulbs!

~130 USD total. And they look so nice, I have NO regrets!

I'm going to have to look for those. I have a 5000K Duracell bulb that I just went to replace a burnt out bulb with and it looks awful.

Wellllll OK, Just took that little push

got a M21F in MAO Gray w/ SFT70 in 5000K
..added a EVE 50PL 21700 for a grand total of $41

needed the Luminus SFT70 to complete set (Luminus headquarters are in Sunnyvale, CA)

I got me one very close to this, but in 3000K, OP reflector and in regular grey anodisation. If you can deal with the bulk, like when you're wearing a jacket, it's a fantastic urban carry torch. Reasonably throwy, but more floody than the M21E or M21A - same huge reflector on both - so you don't get too much tunnel vision.

If you keep it at home, nab a diffuser for it. It'll pull duty as a desk lamp or lantern with ease.

(be warned, yours won't lock out by unscrewing the tailcap, it's a critical flaw of MAO)

Sounds like my trio of Verbatim bulbs. Didn't realize how utterly FUGLY they were until I got rid of them.

(The bulbs I was able to replace in my apartment are either 2700K or 3000K.)

When this is the third time you've seen this topic. In 2004 and again in 2008. I can't remember his name but in 2004, there was a civilian contractor who was posting from Camp Scania, Iraq. He had also set up a small radio station there on the side. I was acting as a glorified security guard in Saudi at the time.

I also remember meeting up with Silverfox in a local park before work (I worked nights) in like 02 or 03 to compare some lights.

Or maybe that just makes me old. It's really been almost 26 years since David founded the site. Wow.

Also, thinking that heavy fog is kind of nice so you can see the cool beam patterns. And when going far from the city, you wonder which lights to packs (in their own bag of course) to see which you can bounce of low clouds, and which ones will let you see further and wider into the water.
And when trying to find the amp useage of the heated seats and heated steering wheel to make an educated guess about just how many you can use for add on lights if you never run those accessories.

Very recently discontinued 600 lumens, black, SureFire G2x Tactical (New/Old Stock).
Yeah, it's headed my way to go with a certain Ti Prometheus clip designed to fit it and a couple of other SF models. Though technically didn't originally buy the clip to get free shipping, but close enough as the reason why.

I like to add stuff like o-ring grease or battery storage caddies to get the free shipping. Or maybe a Fenix e01 / Olight i3e.
