Well, it's a thrower alright....

Everyone who sees it is mightily impressed.

I should have mentioned.... Quidco gets you money back at Banggood, Dealextreme (DX.com), and Gearbest....

Manically getting ready for my IWA trip but had thought about us having a 2017 thread.

Hope you are all well.

As well as can be expected (Winter cold etc!)

Yes please to a meet up for 2017.

Where can we go this time?

TN 42 still frightening and intriguing passersby on my night time cycle rides. A man smoking dope was sitting on a bench with his young son (yes, really - about ten yrs!) and really wanted one. I sent him to the internet and warned him of a large price tag.

Nothing new to report.

Have despaired of ever seeing the Lumadice though!

Can we wait until it's warmer? Just a bit?

Yes, I'm keeping an eye on the paypal refund policy. Keeping my fingers crossed the dice may turn up in the next month.

My TN42 is drawing some interest as well. Car park duty at the school disco drew some real interest. Also showed how good a thower is for directing cars where to park.

I too would prefer if we waited until it gets a little warmer before another meet. My Acebeam K50 is going to be easily beat in the throw department from the 2 x TN42.

If you want the biggest and baddest TN42, Vihn does one with 5000K NW emitter that does 2150 lumen / 730K lux / 1709m throw... but is $275. :broke:

I'm holding off right now to see how the BLF Gigathrower pans out.

No, but I'm a big fan of getting free money. Lumadice say orders placed via the website start shipping next week. Of course, that is START shipping next week, when will they complete....

Yet another thing to pre-order!!!

Nice though!

Where we going to meet up first this year, chaps?

Sea, Hills, Bridges or Ruins??

Clifton Suspension bridge, Bristol?

Some Folly along the South Downs Way?

Or just a nice pub with good food and a tolerance for bright lights (Not like in Amberley last year!)

Any thoughts?

I am happy with an epic adventure or mini meet in Hampstead Health etc.

Looking forward to which ever seems to be most popular.

I am always up for a Mini-Meet up in Hampstead for torchy folk.

That's three so far.

Besides, Hampstead Heath's full of Eevees and Pinsirs at the moment.
