In all seriousness, PK had taken a job at the worlds largest flashlight manufacturer in China designing LED's for a whole host of uses from mobile home stairs to lanterns. He may have had a hand in the recent Jetbeam offerings. For real.
It is unknown if he still does as he had said he was working on trying to set up a factory in Korea building military purpose'd lights but then he went off the radar in about 2019 or 20.

I hope he is in hiding, and no longer working for the communists, but I fear that is likely not the case.

Looks like the trail goes cold after PK established "PK Design Lab" in Hong Kong. The website is still up, but no updates since 2018 according to the blog. I guess one could email the contact and find out if PK is still active in design. LinkedIn also has a profile to correlate with this, but also with no updates.
On a weird side note: "P. K." is an abbreviated form of a curse word in Cantonese (dialect spoken in Hong Kong). It would be like establishing a company in the States called F. U. Design Lab.

We shouldn't insult the Chinese. I prefer US or Euro light but China has some quality lights and honourable designs. Some Chinese or HK companies hire European design firms to make their lights.

In many ways China owns this country. Endless imports, medicine. We are entitled, rudderless, divided and fat and comfy. Sun Tzu would be proud. Invaded and pilfered without a shot fired, and we love it.

With every dollar we spend on PRC-goods, we cut our own throats. I shudder to think how much fentanyl we have paid for with our purchases, and how many Americans we have unemployed. We are reaping our indifference. I generally blame the politicians, and the globalists, but to really be honest, we have no one to blame but ourselves. We sold out America, too. I hope we can turn it around in time to save ourselves. I don't want Americans massacred or enslaved, but that looks to be the future for us if we don't turn things around soon.

Buying Chinese won't be the reason why that happens. Really though they bring all their misery on theirselves have you seen American's bad values nowadays? Then they have the audacity to force their views on the world.
So more than not buying Chinese why can't American flashlight companies export so easily? That is a bigger issue. How can they compete with ITAR in the way?

Intellectual Property Rights and PATENT's have been notoriously unable to be prosecuted for, outside the US.
I give two specific examples, however will omit names.
In example two I had tried, years ago now, to become a dealer for a CN based company. Ordered samples. They arrived and low and behold they were coping other makers unique designs within their lights. I broke ties with them pronto.
Then there was the First CN company I had become a dealer for, even had sold a few of their lights to ICE based in CA. It was not until they had a new flashlight coming out, Which I had Helped NAME, that the facts came out where as the designer had worked for a wildly popular and known USA based company. He had illegally took everything he was working on with him from that company. He had been given a fat amount of money upon leaving, and a prenup stating he would not be involved with designing flashlights for 5 years. A happy send off. He then had opened his own flashlight company immediately after getting back to CN.
They do not understand honor, validity, and IP as we do here in the states. They are free to do as they feel with no empathy or understanding of what they may be doing wrong.
PK is a wonderful designer that had partnered with many flashlight makers previously, but did so in collaboration to have his PK logo, or mention included. I think he is still designing flashlights, but doing so without much notice and exposure as years past.
PK once said his PL-2 was available in a store near his office before he'd even released it.
