    Has Your Flashlight Hobby Waned?

No, the flashlight hobby is going stronger than ever! One weird thing for me is that i have sold all my lights except for (4) Firefoxes HID`s, which i absolutely love, and (1) Zebralight headlamp. I never liked the multiple emiter high lumen LED lights due to the blinding flood and low...

    Jeers to Neal’s Gadgets

Yet another jeer for Neal's Gadgets. On November 27th i ordered a Fire Foxes 5, with a spare lens, diffuser, extra battery mag, and 8 batteries. Around $400 order. Never shipped and he wouldn't respond to email or the Paypal dispute i started a week ago. What a weird way to do business -...

Any word yet on Firefoxes FF5?

I just ordered a FF5! Really looking forward the the 100 watt output. I have an FF3 and FF4 that are just fantastic lights. I have used them both hundreds of times through the years. I take them out for night snowshoe hikes and fire them up when they're frozen solid with 0 issues. Long...

    Night vision IR flashlight

I have a DBAL-D2 and the throw is unbelievable, although it is actually a weapon light.

    Fire Foxes IV FF4

Looks like I'll be clipping the springs, sanding the sharp burr off,and slightly folding the end of the spring down like I did on the FF3. If you do these things perfectly without removing too much material, and insert the batteries from the bottom just right (only half inserting the bottom...

Protected cells are all I've got.

    Fire Foxes IV FF4

I'll definately be getting one of these if they make the battery mag work with protected cells.

Fire Foxes FF3 -- I Am Blown Away!! **NEW BEAMSHOTS ADDED**

After running mine in cold weather, and then shutting it off, the lens fogs up after about 20 minutes. After awhile, the fog disapates and it's good as new. If you are asking if the lens gets smoked after use, the answer is no.

Fire Foxes FF3 -- I Am Blown Away!! **NEW BEAMSHOTS ADDED**

Just wanted to report that I have 6 full runs (fully charged 3100mAh batteries run until the battery pack is flashing) and several runs to 50% with no problems. I'm very happy with the light and would recomend it to others.

    BlackShadow Flashlights.

I received the Rook I ordered yesterday. It took almost 1 month to receive it. I ordered it from CN quality goods. Although the machining is good and the light looks like a quality light, the thing buzzes louder than any flashlight I have ever owned. You can hear the buzzing clear across...

Fire Foxes FF3 -- I Am Blown Away!! **NEW BEAMSHOTS ADDED**

OK, I received mine yesterday and I am very happy with it and can highly recommend it. I went hiking in the mountains and the output was awesome and clearly bested my TN30 that I brought along to compare. It was about 45 degrees out, so I never did see the light drop down to 24 watts and it...

    Modified TN31

Really looking forward to getting this light! I do alot of night hiking and appreciate lights with good throw, so this should be just the ticket. Should have a good run time and I already have a TN30; I definately like the form factor.

Fire Foxes FF3 -- I Am Blown Away!! **NEW BEAMSHOTS ADDED**

Thanks for the great review. I think I may get this light, but I might wait a while to see if they offer a SMO reflector and change to battery mag to allow for the larger 3400mah protected cells. No way I would want to run unprotected cells in a light like this.
