    Preon Revo SS Durable Enough?

I just got mine a few hours ago and all I can say is wow. This is my first non american light as I was hesitant to venture off to china for lumens but I must say, this is a fine and what seems to be a very well built light. It has got some heft, about as heavy as a E1L or backup in my opinion...

    Silver E1B Pic Requests

I do wish there was a good tailcap alternative to the Silver Backup, My favorite EDC of all time is my black backup with an e2d tailcap.

    Silver E1B Pic Requests

I love the Backup light. I have owned 2 80 lumen black versions and each time I had to put a different tailcap on them. The oldest one has a scout and the newest one has an E2DL. Without these I feel there is not enough grip to these lights. I want a Silver Backup but am worried about the lack...

    5th Gen L1 too bright?

I have a 5th gen L1 with the 90 hour 1.1 lumen low. I can get past the ugly square beam but this thing seems to put out way more than 1.1 lumen. My 45/3 kx1 on low seems much dimmer than this L1. Is it because of the optic appearing to be brighter because of the spill on the L1? I added some...

Ugliest brand youve never given a chance?

I have to admit that HDS and Icon are members of the B squad when it comes to looks. The B squad is the ladies you call up after your good ones are busy:shakehead Older surefires were quite ugly:ohgeez: but that doesn't mean they are not my favorite lights.

    L1 lego question

stuck the L1 head on a Lx2 Body and while it looked pretty cool im sure it was over driving the led like crazy, was alot brighter than the 3v config. Anyone know if it can handle the 6v for any period of time?

First Impressions of a Surefire E2D LED Defender

Good stuff man, I actually just traded a c3/m61wll combo for one and some batts, can't wait for it to come in the mail. I have a LX2 and I love it so this should be right at home even if it does look more "tacticool" than the LX2. The High first does seem to rather seal the deal on a tactically...

    L1 lego question

just an update. I received my 5th gen body and when using the following lego combinations output looks to be exactly the same to the naked eye with many many testing shots. 6th gen head / 5th gen body runs like 6th/6th 5th gen head/ 6th gen body runs like 5th/5th Hope this helps.

Not Gonna Buy Cool White Again! [Join Club Here]

+1 for me, join me up. I will not buy one unless its a light for a really good deal. If I had a "choice" it would also be a warm/neutral version

    Hard anodized finish...worth it?

Yes. I assume its nearly on par with surefire's HA and that stuff is significantly stronger and resistant to typical anodizing. A black anodized light will show wear rather quickly compared to a HA light. I would always go HA unless it isn't a color or shade you like. The only downside is...

How do you carry your EDC light?

6th gen L1 with an E1B clip and tail shroud. It is clipped to a dress belt while at work and casual it is usual in my pocket.

    Toughest survival flashlight

That's why its nice to be a cpfer...we take both. We don't like choosing just ONE light

What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

My last light was aquired in a trade and it was a surefire LX2 and I must say, it is a phenominal light. I wanted one mainly for a throwy light that can double as a get home bag/emergency light as it has about 50 hours of runtime on low. The low is 15 lumens but it seems brighter than my old 60...
