    Streamlight Propoly 4AA on Amazon

I'm not sure if this is old news for you guys, but I was mindlessly browsing Amazon and came across this. Streamlight Propoly 4AA for $20. I saw a thread that indicated that any price under $30 for this light was a good deal, so I just wanted to make sure you guys knew it could be had for...

    LaCrosse BC-900 V 33 melts too

Thanks for posting this... I was thinking of ordering a BC900. I've noticed that there have been significantly less posts of "My BC900 melted!!" after V33 was released, so it seems like it is at least more reliable than the previous version. So, this causes me to ask, is there any charger...

    Eneloops at Ritz $12/4 AA

My understanding is that Eneloops have a much lower self discharge rate than "regular" NiMHs... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard figures suggesting that normal NiMHs discharge at a rate between 1-3% per day. Sanyo claims that the Eneloops will hold 90% of their charge after 6 months...

    Powerizer AA NiMHs

Thanks for the help newuser, much appreciated. I was planning on carrying a set of lithium primaries with me while riding to use as backups to the NiMH, so I shouldn't get caught out in the middle of no where with no light. I suppose I'll run these NiMHs into the ground and then look at...

    Powerizer AA NiMHs

I believe the charger is this one from Battery Space http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1351 I dug through the charger comparison by Silverfox, but I couldn't find the charger in question. It's possible that I missed it though. Thanks, Nick

    Powerizer AA NiMHs

Hey all. I just bought a 3w LED light for my bike made by Dinotte. The light runs off AAs, and came with 4 Powerizer NiMH AAs (look like the light blue and orange ones on Battery Space) and a Powerizer "quick charger" that plugs directly into the wall. The quality of Powerizer's AAs...

    Lithium primaries in AAA light?

So, L0P is fine for lithiums. I think Fenix rates the E1 up to 1.6v... does this mean that lithiums are a no-go? Nick

    Lithium primaries in AAA light?

Hey all. I recently ordered (and received) a Fenix E0. When I was reading about the E0 on the forums, I noticed that some of the runtime tests used Energizer lithiums in the light with much better runtimes than alkalines. I checked the Fenix site, which did not mention that the E0 could be...

    Gift exchange idea?

Hmm... mentioning of the Fenix L*T series gave me an idea... I ordered a L1T last week that I've been waiting for.... It's right in the price range, I think the guys would like it, and if I give that away I MIGHT be able to justify to myself (and my girlfriend) a P1D CE. :D My wallet curses...

    Gift exchange idea?

Hey all. With Christmas coming up, I have my annual, family gift exchange coming. It's an exchange for all the guys in the family. So, I figure, because I found this forum, I'd ask you guys for an idea. Would a light be a good present? Hmm... perhaps. So, here's the requirement(s): the...
