Orb RAW NS - Charger Problem?

The Nano charger actually takes several hours to charge a fully discharged Orb Raw Ns battery. It will eventually change to a green light and at that stage the battery should be charged to about 4.1 v.

Paging Fenix P1 owners ... (got my P1, 1st impression)

Anthony – What sort of instrument did you use for your 58% efficiency measurement. Most digital multimeters do not correctly read the DC output of switch mode LED electronics. They are only accurate on pure DC and can be wildly wrong on the ragged waveforms produced by LED lights. There are...

Paging Fenix P1 owners ... (got my P1, 1st impression)

The P1 has been shown in comparative runtime tests to provide more light for a longer runtime than lights that are regarded as having high efficiency electronics. The P1 must have a real world efficiency that is actually much better than an average of 50%. Check the runtimes in update 2 and 3...

The website is a bit flaky. Email the site owner, Tell him what you want to purchase and if the site got as far as giving you a price for purchase including delivery to the UK include that price in the email. The site owner will respond with details of a UK bank account for payment.

    Sanyo eneloop from Singapore

Adam - I have just bought eneloop batteries from the Singapore site and I most definitely did not send a bank transfer to Singapore. The site owner emailed me UK bank account details for payment. I suggest you send the owner a email and ask him about UK payments.

    Sanyo eneloop from Singapore

UK customers do not need to send a bank transfer from the UK to Singapore. The sight owner has a UK bank account and payments can be made to that account. I think there are similar arrangements for the other currencies listed on the sight. This is a very low cost operation but I found the owner...

Eneloop & Enduro LSD Duration Testing

The most significant item in differing eneloop results may turn out to be storage temperature. Sanyo encloses printed information in eneloop packs recommending storage temperatures between -20C/-4F and +30C/+86F. Note that quite low recommended maximum storage temperature. The usually quoted...
