    Maglite XL50 LED Flashlight Review

Ah, OK, that wouldn't be a problem. Thanks. I'll probably go with the XL50 then.

    Maglite XL50 LED Flashlight Review

Thanks. The light is for an elderly person. They already own some Maglites, and I want to get them a brand they are comfortable with. It's either going to be the Mini Mag Pro+ or the XL50. I'm partial to the XL50 because it's the same form factor as a cheap knock off they already use, but I'm...

    Maglite XL50 LED Flashlight Review

How stiff is the button? For anyone who also has experience with the button on the Dorcy 3aaa 9 led light, is the Maglite button just as easy to push in? Thanks

My dream light, Surefire AA E2L

Thank you very much 880arm. For the past five years, I have been buying cheap lights and watching the bulbs burn out in just a few months of occasional use. Enough is enough. It's time for me to bite the bullet, pony up the cash, and get a HQ dependable LED flashlight, one that I know I can...

Between the Mag XL200 and the Preon 2, which light has the wider beam?

The title says it all, both lights interest me, but I value beam width more than distance, at least for this purchase. Thanks Ops, I think I placed this questing on the wrong thread. My apologies. I should have been more careful. I see some things have changed since I was a regular poster.

Is there anyway to determine whether these lights have the Cree upgrades without opening the package? Thanks

I sure could use some advice on buying a spotlight for hurricane season.

Yeah, I know how Google works (and Amazon too), but I'm looking for recommendations.

I sure could use some advice on buying a spotlight for hurricane season.

Here's what I'm looking for: something reliable something that uses D or C batteries (preferably D) less than 50 dollars sufficiently bright to cut throw a major storm All suggestions welcome. Thank you.

Which Coleman Micro-packer Lantern should I get?

There are two different models. One uses the XRE and the other uses the XRC, and both are available for around the same price. I think one is a few dollars more. Or should I take a pass on both of them and get the new River Rock Cree instead? Thanks!

What's your take? 3AA Coleman Micro

There appear to be two versions of this lamp. Here are the specs (that I grabbed off Coleman's site) for both. Cree® XLamp® XR-E LED 80 lumens on high, Run time up to 14 hours on low, and 8 hours on high, or the Cree XLamp® XR-C 65 lumens on high, Run time is 14 hours on low, 8 hours on high. I...

So what's the main difference between the L2E and L2D? Which model is the premium 2AA? Thanks
