Zebralight, what does SC stand for?

absolutely no idea, they've never replied to the three emails i've ever sent them, so i'm not going to ask :)

Sunwayman M11R (XM-L, 1xCR123A/RCR) Review: RUNTIMES, VIDEO, BEAMSHOTS and more!

I picked up an M11R today. Valentines present from my fiancé. Immaculate anodising. I have the natural finish as the tan looked a little too gold for my taste. Really good quality clip (mine incidentally stands proud of the head by approximately half a millimetre so I am unconcerned about...

    Klarus XT1C or Nitecore MT1C

Having seen both in the flesh and on the basis of playing with them for a few minutes i'd say the Klarus :) I'm not a fan of a lot of these new nitecores tbh, the finish on them doesn't seem that high quality.

Zebralight, what does SC stand for?

They've previously stated "SC" = Side Clicky.

    sunwayman m11r

I've not personally played with an M11R but I have fiddled with an M10A and M10R and found them to be beautifully built little lights, having read the reviews of the M11R it seems that this model continues the tradition and I personally would be ecstatic if my other half were offering to get me...

Looking for my first EDC general purpose light

I'd also recommend looking at the klarus line as I had a good hands on session with them earlier in the week and was mightily impressed. Several of their lights will meet all your identified expectations, I think particularly the P2A. I would also have recommended a zebralight however the OP...

    Klarus p1c

I would consider something like a maxpedition retractor reel for belt securing, or has been mentioned, a holster. As an aside the klarus p1c that I picked up earlier in the week for my sister had a very securely attached clip and while I've got small but very strong fingers I found it quite...

    Ramping torches

If by ramping you mean variable brightness. Lots. Sunwayman V series is worth a look :) though I personally prefer the aesthetics of their M series. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

*sniff* my new(ish) Fenix LD10 is dead!

Noooo don't do it! Maha 9000 and eneloop batteries are the ONLY way to go! Ok you're spending £20 more up front but it'll be better in the long run.... Ps look out for HR3-UTGB eneloops as they are the latest generation. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Emerson Multitool Proto at SHOT 2013

I don't even want to contemplate what that is going to cost here in the UK, But I want one. If it's half as well built as the Emerson CQC-7 it's going to be indestructible. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    Jetbeam BC10 vs Klarus P1c

You would think this would be the case, but not all manufacturers are so honest in their answers... Surefire as a case in point flatly denied the possibility of using any kind of lithium-ion in the 6PX-Pro when my friend emailed them.... he bit the bullet and used a 17670... and had no problems...

    Jetbeam BC10 vs Klarus P1c

I picked up a P1C today as a birthday present for my sister (found out she owned no flashlights whatsoever). To be honest I'd never really considered a Klarus but it was a recommendation from the sales ninja and after playing about with it I was thoroughly sold purely on build quality...

    Nitecore MH2A - Opinions

Nitecore calls the battery an NL1427. I *might* get a chance to have eyes on this flashlight on Wednesday or Thursday as I'm hoping to make a trip down the road to heinnie.com 's showroom. I am actually vaguely intrigued by it myself as I find it more aesthetically appealing than the MH1A which...

    Nitecore MH2A - Opinions

It comes with a dedicated 3.7v SINGLE lithium ion battery (which may be charged in the light) and alternatively may use AA Alkalines, AA NiMH and AA Lithium primaries. they specifically warn against using or attempting to charge 14500's or LiFePo4's in it.

AA Extender for Sunwayman M11r Sirius

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the purpose of the extender was twofold. 1. To extend and 2. To reduce the bore diameter. An AA battery is 50mm long or thereabouts and 14mm in diameter. A CR123 is 34mm long and 16mm in diameter. Thus the naming convention for the lithium-ion chemistries...
