I'd like to see some knurling on the smaller bodied AA lights as well. Still prefer the fully ribbed over the latest smooth body iteration.

I used to have two of those Energizer 1AA lights. The first was the black version, then I picked up the gunmetal version. I ran both of them on a 14500. They would heat up quick. The black interestingly enough had a very soft boot, that when the light was on, it was soft enoug that if you stood it on the button, it would tailstand :^) The GM color one did not do that. They were also forward clickies and were pretty cool.
