My AW 3400 fits perfectly in a Solarforce L2T.

Anyone try an orbtronic 3400 or other similar capacity in an army predator xp-g2?

Guys. I think this thread is for Oveready hosts and Oveready products only. It is a battery fitment guide for their host only.

If there is interest/need, I'm happy for this to grow into a comprehensive list, covering light and battery brands of interest to all CPFers. There was just the expectation that custom bodies, which have thinner cell space (and thicker walls), would be the most likely to need it.

Re: 18650/3400 Fitment Guide

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I thought it was a general fitment guide. The main thing that even spawned my question was the recent review of the predator that showed the aw batteries will not work on the button style tail because they scrape. It would be really nice to have a comprehensive list to cross reference but if this thread is not that place that's completely understandable as well. Thanks again for the guidance everyone.

Lets assemble the info on this. Do you have a link or more on the scraping problem ?

I see what you mean. Sorry for the confusion, that is outside the scope of this thread.

The dots are found on all AW 2600, 2900, 3100, and 3400 and either all work with a given light or not (many cells with the feature of a single light).

This thread is for people who are currently using 2600/2900/3100 and don't know if the 3400 will also fit (actually slide inside) their current setup (many lights with the feature of a single [thicker] cell).

Panasonic NCR18650B (3400/green/protected) will not fit TorchLAB TL50-S, TL65-S, or Oveready bored Surefire C2/M3/A19.

It looks like the AW 2900 will fit the Triple Copper E2E if I remove the label.

AW's are definitely slimmer!

In my testing, 3100s are actually slimmer than 2900s and will fit even the E2E, with the label on.

To my knowledge, Panasonic doesn't ship protected cells. Do these have a brand, can you post pics?

The 3100's I have fit fine in the E2E.

No brand name and I'm not sure who adds the protection but here's the pic

Looks in the pic like a 3rd party wrapped the cells in a clear shrink wrap, so they wouldn't need to create a new brand. I'll make a listing for 'generic'.

Re: 18650/3400 Fitment Guide

Just found out yesterday. My AW 18650 2600 and redilast 3100 don't fit my e2e. Right now, I don't have any 18650's that will work in my e2e body. I can use these batteries in my e-series 18650 bodies though.

Only AW 2900 and AW 3100s are so far shown to reliably fit the narrower bore of a Triple E2e.

Got it! Wasn't complaining. A power house this size, it's ok to be selective with battery choices :). This thing is a beast even with a single 18650. Absolutely mind blowing.

I have to make a correction: My Redilast 3400 does fit in my Malkoff MD2. It's tight (won't slide out with gravity) but it fits and is working wonderfully. Sorry for the misinformation. Thanks.

No worries, the more reports (data points) the better!

Re: 18650 3100/3400 Fitment Guide

Reports of 3100s not fitting, keep coming in, so I've expanded the page to include 3100 and 3400 sections.

I've also added a third sub section for 'snug', for cells slim enough to fit, with some friction.
