I have seen both protected and unprotected 4 cells 18650 battery holders (in parallel)
The protected ones are significantly more $ (expected) and also a tad more complex to use in the field due to requirement of a reset voltage if batteries are changed/ replaced (planning to replace in the field all 4).
I would like to discuss the pros and cons of a 4x parallel battery holder that is not protected vs the protected ones. If i were to use reputable batteries and are charged individually (not on holder).
