Sold/Expired 37mm & 74mm extension tube for M*gCharger

Fivemega - I read the link you have above about the 5 C-cells. Just to make sure I am not missing something, which extension would I need to use to run 4 D-cells?

Also, do you still have any WA01183 bulbs?

Best choice is 61mm but 74mm will work too.
I do have following bulbs for 4xNiMH cells:
4 volt axial bulb $18
WA1183 $9
WA1319 $6

37mm is perfect size for 6x1/2D
37+74mm perfect size for 8x1/2D

I'm going to buy a set of these tubes soon.
Has anyone used them with an 1185 and 8 1/2D cells?
I'm intending to use the 1/2D3500HP or preferably 1/2D4000HP cells from batterieswholesale.com.
What cell/lamp combos are people using?
I'm planning on running an 1160 with 5 cells and a 1185 with 8 cells. The latter seems a bit more flexible- a quick swap to the 1306 nets 1.1A draw compared to 3.15A with the 1185, yet it gives more than 500 bulb lumens.

Is there a ceramic M@gCharger socket in the near future? If not I gotta convert the MC to a standard socket and use my FM PR>bi-pin sockets. Is that fair? would like to see some Smooth reflectors too. I will get 18 volts with AW's new lithium C. I bet something hot will go on top of that.
