WHOA!!

Ordered on Monday, and received on Thursday! :twothumbs

If there's anyone on the fence about these lights, I suggest you climb down, walk over to your keyboard and order them. They're beautiful and HOT! Great beams!! Simply amazing in lights this small.

:goodjob::thanks:

Just came in from a walk in the dark with these little hotties. Awesome output, and at 23°F, the warmth is welcome.

Here are a couple of comparative pics, showing the size of these lights compared to a 2C Mag:

This is an amazing turnkey system. Take off the bezel, tip out the LE, drop in your 18500s, replace the LE and bezel and you've got a mini-hotwire.

I've ordered a D-36 Q5 drop-in from PTS, and I'm pretty sure it'll work in either of these, for a longer runtime and ~260L LED output.

#1 Red 2x18500
#1 Gold plated 2x18500

#1 Chrome plated 2x18500

All arrived.

Since I don't have any 18500 so 1x 17670 and 1 x CR123 work fine.:twothumbs

Thanks,
Tanasit

Very nice light, Varooj! The Gun Metal Gray finish is even and silky smooth.

I realized AW C's are hard to come by these days, however I hope to see another light like this one accepting 2 x unprotected C's someday.

Donn,

I have one question. I'm looking for an 18500x2 + LED solution for my bicycle but I'm still new to SF form factors. What is a D-36 Q5 and is Malkoff's M60 as compatible?

Okay, I have two questions. Where did you get that RED Mag 2C??

Sorry DM [post 39], I was looking to expand the uses and appeal of this (FM's latest) creation. I've grayed out my comments. Thanks for the extra info.

Ideefixe, 'C' cells are 26mm diameter, so I'm not sure how you think they might fit inside a 18mm dia body.

EG, perhaps you could deal with your cycle-light queries by PM, rather than here. D36 is an LA with a 36mm diameter reflector.

Let's keep this thread on topic please - it is FM's sales thread for the 2x18500 and 3x18500 lights.
