Interesting with the 8 cells instead of pack, i guess the hold up would be around the charging of these.............something I would not trust of issues past(this time double the cells).

A beast, the 6000lm for 2hrs will be an awesome mode for duration/output...............if its possible that is.

It looks like a stainless steel bezel now, too. :)

The steady upward march of lumens specs: 10000 > 11150 > 12000.

The steady upward march of throw specs: 1000 > 1150 > 1200 > 1301.

I do not see any other factory light with this combination of power and throw; this light is in its own power/throw classification.

Same situation with modded lights: This light has much more throw than modded lights of similar power, and this light has much more power than modded lights of similar throw.

Its a beast for sure, will take the figures with a little pinch of salt though. Say it is 12k, it will certainly get hot even with the mass judging from the xhp35 HI in the k70vn. It can manage the heat from 2600lm well, but there are 5 here not 1 and the light is not 5x the mass............I think 6k or so will be the magic number for runs and outputs here. If pushed to k70vn territory, then a potential of 12,500lm(5x2500 ish). I will guess here(just a guess) the light will measure around 10k from acebeam and vinh well push it over 12k.

So much potential, output and throw............love it

Thanks Rich. I noticed the increase of output and throw as well. Before you know it, the light will have a 100,000 lumen output with a 10,000m throw.

8 cells, though? The weight...
I mean yeah it will be powerful but it starts to enter a new category of what it is as well. It reminds me of 6D Mags. Yes, with size comes added runtime, but who actually wants to carry it?

Re: AceBeam X65 - 12,000 Lumens, 1,301m Throw

Me:D one in each arm please:D ok seriously just the 1 will do, granted its not pocket friendly . But if you want a lot of light for a decent time, big helps out:) Only similar light i could compare is the rc40vnT and i have never felt it was too heavy or big tbh. One of those lights that is took out for a reason so its not an issue for me. Not a type to take out on a whim for a just in case couple of mins type use imo.

Wont suit most no doubt, but for ones who like a large light with good performance.................might be just up their street. Although i dont go crazy all the time with high outputs, it is nice to be able to kick some lumens down range and have it managed in the heat department.

Looks fantastic, the battery pack in the link sounds well up to the job too, 8 x 3400mah cells...nice!

That makes more sense for charging now , a pack that's equivalent to 8x18650's. More user frindly imo over swapping out 8 cells....

Re: AceBeam X65 - 12,000 Lumens, 1,301m Throw

the XHP35 HI is rated at 1483lu (x 5 equals 7415lu). here we have 12,000lu/5 or 2400lu per XHP35
I know LED can be over driven (with a significant increase in heat) but 61% over driven?
what am I missing?

Re: AceBeam X65 - 12,000 Lumens, 1,301m Throw

Think around 2000lm is average on the bigger single LED lights like the tn42............
Well the k70vn with a single xhp35 HI is around 2600lm, so potentially 13k is possible.............drivervn2 (maybe 2 of them) will help out some.

Also, plus what ven indicates in the post above this post,

A few hours ago, I sent my payment for this light to the person who supplies me with his enhanced Acebeam products. :)

yeah - I saw that thread - I think you are getting a great deal on the X65 :)
I already have an X60vn and an SR96vn; so i'll probably wait until the X9 ships.

You're not missing anything other than the levels that ACEBEAM overdrive the XHP35-HIs to. The K70 which has only one XHP35-HI is rated at 2600 lumens on max. output.

EDIT: I see ven already stated something similar earlier.
