Batou. You know, if I could attach a step ladder to my roof and shine my Nitecore your way, you should be able to read a paper by it. You are .8 miles from my house in Goodways Drive.
There was another guy from Bracknell who said he would come to a meet but he never did. Strange because he had over a thousand posts so you'd have thought he would be up for it.

I was driving along and something at the back of my mind reminded me I was supposed to post in this thread...

I'll be there! :)

Nuts, Nuts, Nuts....

I have just been reminded that I have my cousins wedding to go to on the 29th. Bugger!

Sorry Batou, I can't take you after all. Sorry about that.

Hmmm. Wedding in Hitching at 1pm. Not going to the reception... I'll have to come back to Bracknell to drop my son off... Perhaps back in Bracknell for 5. Maybe I can make it after all. Won't be there till around 7 I suspect. Could still take you Batou if you don't mind missing the start. Or at least, bring you home with me after.

I'll book a table for supper for 7:30pm?

The rest of us can tip up anytime from 16:30?

Charge 'em up and select your longest throwers for the Heath!!!!

Boo! Not sure what I'm doing yet. I'll try my best to be there, good food and great company is always fun.

Don't worry - I have booked for 19:15 on the 29th and it would be fantastic to see you too! (It has been a while)

So anyone else can meet us at:

The Freemason's Arms
32 Downshire Hill,
London
NW3 1NT

Parking can be problematic on a Saturday night, though not impossible - I will be taking the bus!

From Five O'clock shall we say - drinks in the pub, then dinner, then Heath with lights! Bring stout shoes.

Have a great time. Hope to see some photos.

Unfortunately I've been knocked flat by a migraine and am not up to travelling anywhere (or dealing with bright lights).

Nah, go smaller. I bought another two 10180 lights last night. Batou, turns out gearbest doesn't sell 10180 cells anymore but I have a few spares, I'll drop one off for you.
Next Brooklands torchlight tour is 31st Oct from 6.30 to 9.30 with meal included. Who's up for it? Have to book in advance.

Great night on Saturday. Pub was good, not too crowded, not too empty. Fine company, fine food and fine torches!

OK, OK, I asked Jay to do his Madonna impersonation! With Twin TN42 throwers.

Jay entertaining interested parties! (We must bring more give away lights at these meet ups) - that's not his hair going white, he's just standing under a downlighter.

All in all a lovely night - sorry only phone pics, but that was all we had.

I'm in for Brooklands in October, but maybe we can have a more Summery meet up earlier????

Hello Petoflight and welcome. You local to London then? Just joined?

I'll call or email Brooklands tomorrow about prices and such. Seem to remember that they get booked up for the torchlight tours so we'll want to get tickets earlier rather than later.

Here is the page for the Oct 31st torchlight tour. I didn't get a chance to call them today. No price yet but was £25 when we went in 2012 so I guess probably around £30-35 now..?
We booked about 3 weeks in advance last time so probably a bit early to be thinking about booking but stick it in your diaries. It's a Tuesday night.

Remember Lee, it's a Wellington, not a Lancaster with 2 engines missing!
