Nice looking lights, Tain! Can the body accept 18350 cells?

Ha! I did, too. Ended up ordering 16340's, which I've never had, I don't think. On a side note, for those who prefer this stunner clipless, you'll need a 1.5MM bit to remove the screws. No 18350 cells. I tried. Not even close.

Yitsan - I will take a Nova TixDa
It's actually about 15000 posts but a few years back they split up the CPF and CPFMP and so, too, went the posts, lol.I am impressed that you have been kicking around this range for 11 years and 7500+ posts and not yet tried 16340 cells. Mind you, I only tried 18650's about 4 months ago.

That's interesting Troy. I may have to try the same thing. Thanks for the idea!I removed my clip/screws and those beautiful trits were completely exposed in their full glory. :naughty:
Delivery timeframe? These look really nice...
Hi Yitsan,
I'll take one of each. Simply beautiful lights! Email sent with details.
Want one Nova Ti for sure. Very pretty. Email sent.
 - Wondering if the 20 pieces are total (including pre-orders), or 20 still available ... ?
Took the liberty of taking some beamshots. White balance was not locked so tints looked off, thus I converted to B&W. First, the contenders:
HDS 170N (Nichia 219B):
Aleph 3 head:
Haiku:
V10R (from SOYCD!):
Nova:
All lights on max. Except Nova - one above was on med - thanks SOYCD for noticing.
The Nova does appear a bit more focused in the picture than it appears in real life. There is lots of spill - very wide - much more so than any of the others. Spill is wider, but not brighter.
{Some of the images above are not changing to B&W for some reason...}

For the record, the Nova body works well for switching modes on DatiLED's light engines as well. I popped a 1.4 Amp XPG2 LE into the Nova head: W!O!W.
Loving the Nova.
