maybe somebody else asked it before, but can Rotary use 18350 rechargeable batteries or not?

Does anyone have any side by side comparison shots between their current LED offerings, 250 cool vs 170 Hi CRI Neutral. I'm just about to place a custom order but I'm still hung up on this last choice.

I'm not much of a flashaholic. I have a 47s Quark-Pro and a Olight i3s on my keys. For the sake of something different I'm leaning towards the Neutral, but I'm worried that 170lm will seem a little underpowered. I've been spoiled with the 700+lm from my Quark.

I carry the 120 lumens HCRI everyday. The rest of the HDS lights belong to others. I do not have access to the 250 model. The 120 lumens version is enough light for general usage. I have bigger lights if I need more lumens.

Can u please add the new 170N as well?
Thank you

I do not have access to the 140 HCRI XP-G 3700k today, so I can't do a 140 HCRI vs the 170N side by side beamshot. I may not see the person that owns it this week.

I don't, but I have a numerical comparison. Looking at my spreadsheet linked on the last page, level 23 of the 250 is about the same brightness as level 24 of the 170.

In other words, side by side, your eyes will barely notice the difference in brightness between the max levels. I'd be willing to bet you'd notice the quality of the light more. After all, that's what HDS represents to me: well-rounded and high-quality. If I were chasing lumens I'd go for a different light altogether, much like the lights you've already found.

The picture above was just trying to compare the tint. Here's a better picture of the two lights at the same distance while side by side. 219b left, 219a right

I hope for your sake those are actual weeks and not Henry weeks. If it's Henry weeks then multiply by 4.

I ordered one about 9 months ago. Still waiting.

9 months? You may want to contact Henry about the status of your order. I think in either this thread or the "when did you order your HDS" thread, all orders through at least mid January 2014 should have been filled.
