I thought I'd post a thread where everyone can share their custom Indium Smart sequence and torch files for others to try.
If you are unfamiliar with this cutting edge flashlight, you need to go to this thread https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/95499&page=1&pp=30
I made a little tutorial for first timers using the information I learned the hard way (I read the f'ing manual when I couldnt get stuff to work! )
http://lights.chevrofreak.com/Indium/tutorial/
I've also created a few custom sequences that can be used without the need for a .torch file. Simply load the .seq file as described, then you can add it to your own personal cycle if you wish.
Here is one I think should be quite disorienting, it is a strobe that starts at 20ms on 20ms off for 30 repeats, then steps up to 40ms on 40ms off for 20 repeats, then finally to 60ms on 60ms off for 10 repeats, then cycles back to the beginning. I think when the LED is being pulsed at 60+ lumens it should be quite disorienting! http://lights.chevrofreak.com/Indium/Indium_Smart_Profiles/chevrofreak/20TO40TO60REPEATSTROBE.SEQ
Another I made is a simple S.O.S. signal with a 4 second pause between reps. http://lights.chevrofreak.com/Indium/Indium_Smart_Profiles/chevrofreak/SOS.SEQ
A 25hz strobe that is definately hell on the eyes. http://lights.chevrofreak.com/Indium/Indium_Smart_Profiles/chevrofreak/25HZSTROBE.SEQ
A 2% brightness mode for nightlight use, or for navigating your way to the fridge at night while avoiding stepping on the cat. http://lights.chevrofreak.com/Indium/Indium_Smart_Profiles/chevrofreak/2PERCENT.SEQ
Here is a .torch file I made as well.
http://lights.chevrofreak.com/Indium/Indium_Smart_Profiles/chevrofreak/chevrofreak_customattempt2.torch
customattempt2 uses the rear switch as an on/off switch, and when turned to the ON position it returns to the previously used selection. Using the side switch makes it cycle between:
100%
75%
50%
25%
2%
S.O.S.
20to40to60repeatstrobe
then it repeats.
Press and hold the side button and it will jump straight to the custom strobe mode.
You will need to have 2PERCENT.SEQ SOS.SEQ and 20TO40TO60REPEATSTROBE.SEQ loaded in order for the .torch file to work.
