If I could give away any light as a gift? If money were no object ... the TK75 2018. For something more reasonable, but still really nice I'd maybe go with the current Fenix UC30. Or maybe the LD22 XP-G2 for AA/NiMh ease of use.

TK75 by far my favorite! Thanks for the great lights over the years Fenix. You're the main reason I have a flashlight issue according to the wife! :)

In the past I have gifted the very prize, (CL20) a few E05s, E01s, E12s, HL25, FD41, and a HL60R. But if wanting to get someone into lithium ion 18650 for the first time, I'd probably choose the PD32, 2016.

My choice would be the UC01, to be used as a dog collar light, since the E05 and CL05 are a little bit too big for a Jack Russell terrier.

HL23 for my hunting buddy. His flashlight has died on him and he really needs a headlamp with easy to access batteries. Boy carries way too much stuff in the woods. Needs free hands haha

I would (and did) give away a Fenix HL23 to someone who went to Puerto Rico to help with storm recovery (...and they planned on giving it away to someone in local office when they left.)

I have not posted in many years, But I read the posts from time to time. Since I got cancer I don't buy much anymore. I live just a few miles from the Sonoma county wild fires and I wish I could give those who lost their homes a simple AA light like a E20. I don't need anymore lights, I have plenty. I hope to be able to build some tiny homes for those in need if my broken body lets me, maybe I can slip in a flashlight in each one.

Because I got so many favorable, light-friendly comments about the former AA version from people I gifted the CL20 to, it would have to be its successor, the CL20R.
