Looking for a slim thrower

Ok, I now have a Eagletac DX30LC2-R and I can confirm that it's a decent thrower as is. Intensity is approx 40% greater than the Malkoff HOT. I'll see if I can get hold of a suitable xpg2 and update this thread if successful.

Well, we have a winner and a runner up. Bought some xp-g2's from mtn electronics that arrived yesterday and spent this morning fitting them to a couple of flashlights. Great tint on these already dedomed Cree's.

Runner up is a Acebeam EC32 that I had dedomed the original LED. Fitting the xp-g2 gives me approx 26k and a hotspot of 6" at 6'.

Winner is the Eagletac DX30LC2. I've got approx 35k with a slightly smaller hotspot than the EC32.

Took a little bit of time to get the Noctigons sized to fit and then to get the reflectors sitting pretty, but I'm very happy with the end result. Almost makes the dark nights worthwhile
