Looking for Simple Affordable Single AA Thrower w/Momentary Function and 2 Modes, it needs to be simple for old pops to operate. Prefer momentary function and a simple 2 Modes UI as well as a smooth reflector with a warm tint.

Minus the warm tint a mini mag led pro plus would fit. Very simple 2 mode ui and I bet your pop already knows how to use it.

AFAIK the "High-color Rendering Index" option is a warm XPG with 80+CRI. There's a narrow optic for throw and a momentary switch available. Whole setup will set you back ~$75 though and I can't speak to the reflector's texturing.

The Inova X1 would be a good choice for a 1AA format light......80 lumens on high 11 lumens (I think) on low has a momentary switch (press once for high twice, within a secound or so for low) twist/tighten tail cap for constant on. Smooth reflector. Tail cap will take a paracord lanyard.

Only thing is it's not very warm and the tail cap can be a bit fiddly in how much it needs to be loosened for proper momentary operation, though it can be used as a twisty.
