Malkoff Picture Thread

living the unshrouded life. Small one is a MDC HA 1CR123 with an unshrouded barrel, stainless bezel, and SST20 4000K 95 CRI LMH (a HA2AA head so 3.2V max) head. Larger one is a MDC 18650 unshrouded barrel, LMH 3.8-9V SST20 4000K 95CRI head. Love the tint on these two, like sunshine in my pocket!

When did they do a AA 1-2v 519a? Must of missed that one!
Special group buy on Flashlight Fanatics FB group. I actually typed that wrong sorry, just fixed it.

They had two runs, first was the 14500, 519, three mode. Second was the AA only, 519, three mode. Essentially the same light besides the cells used and output.

Gotcha. I had the 14500 model but I sold it because the first output level was way too high. I definitely wouldn't mind the AA 1-2v version

Yeah, my only complaint is no true moonlight mode but I'll get over it lol. Would much rather the higher full output instead.

Yeah I need the moonlight mode I use that the most and medium lol. Would just love if they made that light a duel fuel and kept the moonlight

May have to put a WTB out there for the AA version. Hopefully someone doesn't like theirs haha!
I see lights come and go all the time in the groups, plenty of "catch and release" they call it.

I'd just be happy with the low around 1 lumen or so and the medium and high just where they already are.

I'd highly recommend the 519a 2700k AA 1-2v LL-L-H MDC if you can find one. The tint is warm and the lumen output is .4-8-100, respectively. Perfect for midnight snack runs to the fridge.

I'm sure it's nice but 2700k is too warm for me. I have a few lights with that for around the house already. I'd rather have a temp I can use in daytime with ambient light

I am really liking the newer 16650 light as my work light. Replaced the old 16650 with the new neutral and had a stainless bezel sitting around I put on there. Makes it even cooler IMO. I use it 5 days a week pretty hard.
