Red,
Impressive collection! I look forward to your suggestions on spare parts. Looking at a Sapphire for keychain carry. What do you think?

TiRider22,

Both lights are are great choices. As for the batteries, any of the name brand protected RCR123's should be fine. I like the AW protected 16340's.

I am am certain you will love these lights. Please let us know when you get them. Don ships very fast so it should be soon.

Best,

RL

greatscoot,
Nice photo. I decided against the 2x123 for now but will revisit later. I was concerned about length in my front pocket so I went with two 1x123 builds based on Don's suggestion. Will advise when they arrive. Your Sundrop is very nice. I'm very tempted but need to wait for now. Thanks for the pic.

The 2x123 is really nice with the Sundrop, and I would agree that with the Haiku or Mahi head it is a bit long for pocket carry. Congrats on your purchase, you won't be disappointed.

Cool or warm was a tough decision so I got both Sapphires.
One of the best beams I have ever experienced. I call these little guys elegant simplicity. Always have one around.

Hi all,
These arrived on my front porch step today. They are simply perfection. Don has perfectly blended the world of art and utility in his work. I could not be more pleased with my choices. The Haiku HV-XML2 and Mahi HV Osram are perfect size for my needs. Don was great to work with and got them to me quick. Thank you RL, greatscoot, Arch, and others for the advice. It was spot on. Cracked Ice clips are a must. Now all I need is batteries

I guess I can't post photos. I tried to attach my photos of the Haiku and Mahi and couldn't. Not sure what's going on but will try again later.
