 :grin2: Wiser flashaholic wisdom may be tough to come by... I got a PM two minutes after posting my question above, while on the Oveready website ordering a " vintage", with a satin stainless bezel ring, and zero res kit. PM went like this: " Hey Greg- Buy the damn thing :)" followed by a bunch of good reasons why.

Thanks, Tim!

Aside from the obvious flamethrower applications, I can't wait to hear runtime/ lumens on a primary 123...

Still running ???

From my testing, you will get over 100 lumens from a fresh cell.
The light will run more than 24 hours, with output diminishing over time of course.

We can do some more testing and report some better figures if you guys like.

Oh no!

Noticed that black miniturbo head is now removed from OR site. Does this mean these are now no longer made?

Haven't had a chance to stretch it's legs yet, but the vintage HA M2 head looks real nice on a C2 body... :)

I have a few more on the bench here.
Hoping to have them ready sometime in July for you guys.

The zero res shorty/slim 18500, with the Moddoolar P60 adapter make a pretty compact host for this 1000 lumen thrower, I don't notice any difference in brightness at all. :)

Btw that is a HA Nat adapter, not blk. ;)

Had occasion to use mine at around 1am this morning. Dog was going ballistic, and I heard one of our garbage cans go over. Wound up being a small black bear, smaller than my dog. ( 120lb. Central Asian shepard) WOW is this a BRIGHT, beautifully tinted light! Smoooth beam with a really nice combination of spill and throw. 100 feet was blinding, 200 as the lil' guy scampered away was still nuts... Home Run, Oveready! :twothumbs

Brandon- I'll put up a pic tomorrow, vintage head on a Fivemega 1x18500 body with an Oveready Zero Res shorty tailcap... Not quite as slim, but grippy and compact.
