I would be interested in a head to head comparison of this light with the Fenix T1

Both seem to be marketed to the same target group.

The FOX doesn't have a clip so it may be easier to carry on a duty belt. I'm really hunting for a new Q5 on the belt light.

Mike or Glen
Has this arrived yet or any further on when it will? I know Glen is away for a month but wondering if there is any further update on when you are getting it Mike? I notice on PTS that arrival date is December 12 or soon near after. I am keen to see this in action and some reviews of it.

E mail I received stated PTS was expecting to receive them on Monday the 18th.

I have one on pre-order along with 2 Q5 drop in modules.

Well, I'd like to bring this thread up again, since I'm thinking about buying the Wolf-Eyes FOX.
As far as I have read it should have a good output and built quality as well as a good regulation.
Concerning the focus ability there seem to be some different opinions...
Any new comments regarding that light?!?
Thanks!

Thanks for the link!
Does the FOX have a "lock out" feature as e.g. in the Fenix P3D (where you can unscrew the rear part of the battery tube a little bit to prevent accidentally switching on the light via the rear clicky)?

A slight turn of the tail does prevent the light from working. The switch isn't exposed much and is firm.

Great, thanks for the answer!

Now the only thing I'm still a little undecided on is the focus ability.
Some say there is hardly any difference between minimal and maximal focus, others say it's quite a difference.
On these pictures the difference looks quite noticable...
(The german review those pictures came from is here.)

Any comments would be highly appreciated!
Of course, more comparison shots would be great, too! :)

Great, thanks!
Looks to me as if the focusing does make a difference after all!

Ice, the focussing does make a difference, I have tested a few here, though maybe not as much as some user expected. It doesn't vary from pencil spot to full flood though.

The reflector is deeper than on most......compared to the typical D26/P60 drop-in, it is more focused on spot and on flood the beam is smooth and even.......but like Glen said, dont expect extremes.
