Broke glass sound.... My bedside maxabeam.... Every. Single. Time.
Is this for when you hear breaking glass coming from the house at the end of the street or so you can burn a hole through your walls and not have to get out of bed to see the culprit lol?
Pepper spray has the advantage of being non-lethal.
As I read through these responses, I found myself wishing I had some of the training that was mentioned. A course in home-defense tactics would be useful.
I also wondered what I would do if I confronted an intruder inside my home who was holding a hand gun. At that point, I am probably within my rights to shoot first, and ask questions later. Many people, however, perhaps including myself, would be tempted to try a citizen's arrest. "Freeze, or I'll shoot." might be a conversation starter. I expect, unfortunately, that such an attempt could easily backfire. Is shooting first the more appropriate response? I do not know.
The wifey and I have 2 Maine Coon cats that growl when they hear anything odd. At almost 20 pounds and lean they are some big cats, but I doubt they'll do any protecting.
I also owned an A2L-RD, but HATED the main beam. It was that gross Seoul whatever LED they used in the P60L. You'd think for $200 they could've built the A2L with a better high output LED!
