Photon Freedom STAYS ON ! ! !

Hello everyone --


I changed the Battery in my Photon Freedom Max keychain light.


Everything seemed to go just fine,
only now -- I am Unable to Turn the Light OFF ! ! !

Same thing happened to me LAST time
I changed the battery, but I kept fiddling with it
until finally "stumbling" onto success.


This time, however . . . .

Tried Everything I can think of,
but Nothing seems to Work ! ! !


Anybody know what I'm doing WRONG here ? ? ?

My Camo unit does the same thing.
I returned it to LRI for warranty repair. http://www.laughingrabbitinc.com/warranty.html
They replaced the board.
I put in new cells - SAME damned thing again! It will not shut off until I remove the cells.

I had the same issue with mine a while back. I got frustrated and ended up selling it.

I've had that issue with some of mine. I'm not sure which hold on the PCB the LED goes into, but playing around with it seems to work. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty both aren't supposed to slide in. Hope this helps.

I never took the LED * out * of the socket holes on the PCB !

I had the same problem with one. I took a small plastic jar and filled it with isopropyl 91% (rubbing alcohol). I 've put the Freedom in it without the batteries and the cap, closed the jar and vigorously shook it. Took the Freedom out and let it dried. Solved my problem. I might worth a try.

Sometimes the little wire under the battery gets bent or moved when you change the battery if you are not careful. It happened to me before, but I fixed it by looking at how it works, and doing what was needed. It wasn't hard to fix.

Known issue...send it to them for fix or replacement. I've owned over 20 freedoms and have spoken with them.
