How about a C8 type light? I use a Thorfire C8s occasionally for dog walking and it's pretty throwy but has great spill as well. Nice balance of flood and throw, but definitely more of a thrower.

So just a quick follow-up. She has taken the path of least resistance and has said the Wowtech is fine for her. She certainly isn't using it to its full potential, but that's fine by me. Sooooo... I will be ordering another one for me to keep around sometime soon Thanks for everyone's help!
