Assuming you are using 1 x li-ion in both scenarios is there any reason you cannot swap bodies and heads from a C1 and C2?

Bodies are interchangeable. But if you use the head of C1 with the body of C2 - you should use 18650.

Possible issue with Prime C2 Pro model

I cannot speak to the for others - though another user did chime in and says he shared my observation with the operation of the Prime C2 Pro model - but wanted to bring my experience forward to understand what my be occurring with the operation of the light.

Maybe someone can recreate my situation but I'm hoping someone can provide some insight in to what is happening.

I received my C2 this week (and C1), both pro warm models.

I placed a 3400 Keeppower 18650 and tested it out. Initially, it appears to function as it should. The button was not flashing while it was off so I attempted to activate it in the same manner as my Wizard (version 1 or 1.5).

With the light off I unscrewed the tailcap, held in the button, retightened the tailcap, unscrewed the tailcap, and released the button. When the tailcap was retightened the button began flashing green while off acting as a locator beacon. Success!

However, with this activated I experienced something strange. If I turn the C2 on to any of the lowest 3 outputs, it will turn off within a minute.

If I repeat the steps to turn the locator beacon off then the 3 lowest output modes will remain on.

Look forward to any input and help :).

Re: Prime/Prime Pro. Outdoor & Camping flashlights

Hello Armytek:
Can you confirm that actually there are not on sell (in any store) Prime C2 with the fail on the thermal management control?
Can you indicate if there are the same problem of thermal management in other models?

I appreciate your information about this.
Regards.

Re: Possible issue with Prime C2 and C1 Pro models

Please forgive the quality of this video. Videography (and photography) are not my strong suit. Below is a video I recorded earlier today to show what is happening with my Prime C2 Pro.

Hello!

1. No, we can`t confirm, that there are no such flashlights everywhere, because we don`t know exactly, how many flashlights has gone to dealers. We can tell you with confidence that we don`t have it on our store.

2. No. There is not the same problem in other models.

Folks who will have sent the light back to China, if you can post which shipping service you used and origin location and cost of your shipment, it would be most helpful.

I have new Prime A1 Pro Warm, and got around to some tail cap and runtime testing on its low lows and I find its specs quite badly exaggerated (2000 mah Eneloop)... or perhaps I have a particularly inefficient and/or faulty sample:

- 0.15lm/90day mode; I get 0.02 lms in my lightbox and a 12.5ma tailcap draw (~7 days)

- 1.5lm/200hr mode; I get 0.4 lms and a 20.5ma tailcap draw (~100 hrs)

- 10lm/25hr mode: I get 6 lms and ~16 hrs, or about the same as my N219 D25A. My Neutron V2, SC52 and S15 nearly doubled that runtime. All lights are in the 5.5-8 lms range (despite spec claims), and were run side-by-side.

I really want to buy several armytek lights, but armytek is making it so very difficult to commit. Just one issue/shortcoming after another. I'm actually pissed off, because I want these lights to be good, so I can end my search.

I have a Tiara A1 Warm and they claimed a 2 lumen low, but it's about .04 lumens, and they claimed it had 5 modes but I only have 4 even when using a 14500. This seems to be par for the course with Armytek.
