RARE MAGLITES

Not long ago Maglite was selling incan versions of the dark blue (or very similar) in AA, solitaire, 2D and 3D. They may still have some. They call it midnight blue.
I got one some time ago and run it as I did with my first blue MiniMaglite back in the year 2000, with Energizer Photo Lithium. It is a game changer with the light and now that we have access to German made Xenon bulbs it couldn't get any better.

Did Maglite ever make a narrow head like Kel Lite? I could have sworn they did but I'm old🧝‍♂️

Judging by the early parts sheets on Jason's site they had plans in place to make a large head, but the accepted story is they dropped the idea before producing any. I haven't seen anything similar for small heads. However early Mag-Lite boxes refer to the single Mag head size as "small" on D-cell lights and "medium" on C-cell models so that may be where that idea comes from.

Additionally, several companies were making small head police lights when Mag-Lite hit the market. If you see a B-Lite from behind it looks more like a Mag than, say, a Kel-Lite would.
